The X1.5 magnitude flare was the strongest to strike Earth since 2017.

The flare disrupted radio communications, GPS signals, and satellite navigation, scaring residents.

Additionally, it made auroras visible in the night sky as far south as Florida and Texas.

More solar flares are anticipated in the upcoming days and weeks, according to a warning from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
