Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns: Two Players Go Out In Stretchers!

Football is one of the riskiest games on the globe, as was once again demonstrated on Thursday when two Eagles players suffered significant injuries.

In the third quarter of Thursday night's preseason game, wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland and defensive end Moro Ojomo were both hurt and had to be taken off the field on stretchers.

Cleveland landed awkwardly and forcefully on his head and neck while attempting to make a catch. He was rendered immobile by the hasty medical personnel. After that, he was taken off the field on a stretcher.

On another play in the third quarter, Ojomo was hurt. His head struck the ground forcefully after being tackled. On the field, medical staff examined him before putting him on a stretcher and removing him.

Both athletes were transferred to a nearby hospital for additional testing. No new information regarding the Eagles' health has been disclosed.

Everyone concerned experienced the injuries as a frightening event. Cleveland was being treated while his teammates and coaches gathered around him. A number of athletes kneeled in support of Cleveland.

Ojomo is a crucial member of the Eagles' defense, so his injury is particularly concerning. But when he was escorted from the field on the cart, Ojomo gave a thumbs up and waved, which is a good sign.
